The Fathers Connection began in the late 1980's as a group support program for fathers from all walks of life, who were in various fathering situations – a free and open discussion among married, never-married, divorced, and widowed dads who were often confused or distressed and seeking wisdom and advice from other fathers.
Led by a professional counselor, the Fathers Connection helped participants make life enhancing decisions and learn more about their roles as fathers, as they learned through the experiences of other fathers. You might consider starting a Fathers Connection support group program in your area.
The newest addition to the Fathers Connection family of programs is Fatherhood: The Ins and Outs of Being a Dad. This program gives fathers the tools and skills they need to be a knowledgeable and active participant in their young child's parenting.
